    New project

First, a quick hello. I am new to this forum and am looking forward to learning from the rest of you and sharing my own experiences with you as I undertake a new project.

I would like to ask if any of you have ever purchased plans from Brian Wolfe, and if so, have you experienced build problems as a result of those plans? I have a set of plans purchased from him recently and am seeking your opinions as to whether or not I should undertake this project? Your help is sincerely appreciated.

Not much good has been spoken of him in the consumer section. Here's the search I did for "Brian":

-5 rating on the Vendor List.
I think most of the critisism is on his work, not the plans, but I may be wrong...

Anyway, good luck on the project. Hope to see a progress report soon..

    Re: New project

An experienced kit car builder and member of our board also saw the body Brian Wolff built for himself upclose and said it was "Unbuildable", in the sense that you could never actually get it mounted to a chasis and make it look proper. If even the creator of the plans can't complete the project...

The template package I purchased is for an Enzo. I am in Las Vegas, btw.

That's funny... I gave him enzo 3D models for free from Need for Speed 3 before he cheated me... If the plans were made from that video game model I wouldn't bother building them, as they are not dimesionally correct and will not work.

That is very interesting to know. Thank you for your input. Perhaps you could direct me to a source of more reliable plans? The make of the car is not fixed, it can be Diablo, Countach, or any other make of exotic. I merely want to build my own car from scratch.

I have the diablo plans from Brian, I am not sure how accurate they are though.....and you would need AutoCad to view them

Talk to AutoMX on the forum here - he's our resident 3d expert . It is possible that the game model is accurate, just unlikely. AutoMX will be able to give you more insight - all I can do is download 3D models from video games and convert them to AutoCAD format
