    F355 Cov Top Pattern

    Hey everyone.. Does anyone have a overhead view of the top for a 355? I'm building a frame that my cov top will attach to.
    The frame will bolt to the body of the car and hold the fabric down. I am looking for a very good overhead shot to get this shape
    correct.*If anyone has access to a real car could you pull a measurement of the side sails? The measurement rorm the rear firewall to the rear of the side sail.
    thanks

    I have some photos for you. It looks like the option to upload photos has been removed so I will email them to you.

    Dave/All;

    The upload pictures is under Additional Options in the post reply page.

    Makes sense since that is where we all are when looking to upload pictures.

    Good update on the chat site Ari.

    Cheers

    Now that my car is painted, I want to finish the top. Thanks to Don, I have a custom header on the car that he picked up somewhere form a defunct kit car company. I think the front edge of the frame will be a 1 inch X 1/2 inch curved angle iron that will clamp the top frame to the header. I feel two downward pins will hold it in place like the MG used and will work just fine.

    Re: F355 Cov Top Pattern

    My frame is a little too wide at this time over the side windows, so I need to trim out 3 inches in the center of the cross bows and move the top side rain inside the side window instead of over it. The HD drive chain hinges work fine and are quite small. I have them hidden inside the 3/4 inch tubing.

    I am looking for a top company in Florida that will make a top for me if you know anyone. Most of the shops I have talked to lately, will only install replacement tops. (Where has the creativity gone in this world?)
