Not sure which year was the first for the LSx engine, but the V8Archie kit will not work on it if it's a LSx. It may or may not work on the LT1 engine, check www.V8Archie.com to be sure. Archie is currently still developing the LSx kit, last I saw. These kits use standard Fiero transmissions. Also, Loyde at FastFieros is developing the LSx kit to use the 4T65Ehd. Check Pennock's for more swap info: www.fiero.nl

How about using the new all aluminum 427 big block out of the new Z06?

That sure looks sweet................ I was wondering if anyone had reliability issues with LT-1 or LS-1 swaps? Mainly with swaps that greatly exceed the output of naturally aspairated V-6s? I would like to build an LT-1 with approx. 450-500 horse in the 6,000-6,500 range, but power is usless if it breaks everything.

I should be recieving my AD Coupe kit from John Watson within the next month. It is going on an '88 Fiero 2.8 5-speed, with standard wheelbase. Has anyone built anything similar?

PS> If anyone is looking to buy a kit, call John, He is one of the easiest guys to deal with, and he is a book of information!
