what is the widest wheel in 5x100?

I have seen like one 9" and one 10" wheel with the 5x100 pattern. anybody know of any 9" or wider? there are numerous at 8.5"
What was I thinking??!!  I could have a VR4 Spyder for this kind of money.

I had found 8.5" wide 18" riums. Had not seen anything wider really myself. Did not look that hard though.

What about doing a search on the internet tire places?

thats what I tried. most sites list wheels by vehicle rather than by size..

I am looking at the HP Racing 18x9 in a 5x100 right now. I keep looking for the 10" wide rim, but have not found it either.

Why not change the spacing to get a bigger wheel selection? Changing the spacing is not that big of a deal from what I've read.

it is not a big deal if you are willing to use wheel adapters. If you don't trust them then it is. I have been down this path. See my posts on trying to find alternate hubs. If you go with custom axles then you can do it. I already paid for custom axles to get +4" I really don't want to shell out the money again. If I had been smarter I would have realized this up front and had the axles made with different diameter/splines on each end. Then I could use a ciera, achieva, or 6000 hub and CV joint.

Keep in mind that a lot of the axle ends (tri-pots) can be intermixed with different axles. That's what I had to do with my 3800 swap, using the 4T65Ehd tranny to stock Fiero uprights. It migght get you the combination you're looking for. Also, depending on the pattern size and what year hub you're using, the hubs can be re-drilled for a larger pattern.

Go to salesco.com and find the wheel section. Once you are there, go to the chrome plated composite wheels. They will custom make your wheels to your specs (cheap).
