    I can only find one web site on the net which features an electric kit car. Any other sites?

    Kstix, thanks for the info. I already know of many electric conversion sites. I am looking for any electric kit car sites.

    I had some better sites in my Favorites, but now there are gone sorry. I have'n seen any Actual Electric kit car sites

    there were some 3 wheelers in kit form where you put the car parts together (a real kit, like a kit plane, or a westfield XTR) but i dont know of any right now.

    why not build on a fiero or MR2, then convert that to electric? a non-running fiero can be bought for $300

    I thought about doing that with my other Fiero, with these darnded gass prices. I've got too many fires with irons in them if you know what I mean

    I once did a search for electric Fieros and came up with a few.Propane is another posible smog exempt ida,if thats what your looking for....

    How about acar that runs on cooking oil? When you get low just in stop at Mc Donalds and buy some old french fry oil. LOL. I saw where tow guys were driving a new VW bug on cooking oil.

    I saw that program,people said the exhaust smelled like french fries.

    yes any diesel can run on cooking oil, new or used (used works best) but the oil needs to either be pre-heated to start the engine or the usual way of using 2 fuel tanks, one with diesel or biodiesel to start up and end the trip with, and the main tank to run the car while driving.
