up/ down stops for testy headlights

Hello, I have my testy headlight pods bracketed to the fiero headlight motors so they go up and down beautifully, I just need some advice on how to put adjustable stops on the bracketry to stop them in just the right position up and down, thanks

I welded nuts to the mounting brackets for the motors. I made threaded rods that could screw in and out to adjust to stops of the motors. I made the stops work right at the motor main lever, it is the strongest there.

I'll get you some better ones later,,,,,my brackets use the bolt method also and they work great and are very adjustable. 8)

i have the older style headlight motors, I cant quite make out what I am looking at, you have a diagram, it looks like your motors lay down while mine are upright.

    I uploaded a quick scetch jdorr2002

I hope this helps. I removed the motor from the mounting brackets and made my own out of 1/8" plate. I am pretty sure I used the left on the right and the right on the left sides.

    Jim:

Did you use a Fiero headlight relay in your configuration?* I want to use one in my headlight circuit so I can have a simple on off headlight switch.* headlights on they go up and park, headlights off they go down and park in the closed position. I am sure I can figure it out but don't want to reinvent the cavallo selvaggio.
