    NSX windshields

anyone thought of using an NSX windshield? they are light and relatively easy to find.
they are almost identical to the 355 with the exception that they are more curved on the top.
    question remains about the price..

    orange is 355, gray NSX

    Re: NSX windshields

I have looked into this sometime back before we had Trevor make up a crate of the 355/Fiero windshields. The OEM 355 is (4 inches each side) too narrow on the top and 3 inches too tall. The Fiero has limitations on how far the glass is laid back. It is only 1 inch difference but it takes a taller glass to make up the distance. Then the bottom tray on a Fiero can only be extended 8 inches toward the front of the car to fit properly. The Ferrari is also quite expensive as is the NSX. So although this is a great idea, it didn't work out for most of us building a 355. Same for the Acura, Chrysler, Buick, Pontiac and Dodge windshields.

Notice the top of the windshield is wide as compaired to a 355 or NSX.
