Any one getting close to finishing their 355 AD Watson KIT

    Hello,

I was just checking to see if anyone is getting close to finishing their 355 AD Watson kit. We are hoping to be done in another 4-6 weeks if all goes well. Hope to see some finished products soon.

    Good Luck guys

Dave Newman with Funnywheels II is probably out driving his around right now or just got back from a burn.

He is on the road and happy as all get out about it.

    Cheers

I'd like to be able to say I'm close but that would be a huge lie! I'm probably about 3 months away from paint. Lately I've got to spend a lot of time out of town for my job that keeps me away from working on the car. I've been spending way too much time getting my hood latches working. I'm using some from a Saab. They're the kind that have pins that go into a socket at each corner.

    Hi Lance

Keep plugging away. I hope to see your FINISHED car at the AD BBQ next year with that amazing interior. I know what you mean by work getting in the way of your build. I took two months off to work on the car and it doesn't look any different. I'm still shooting to have it finished by Feb 2006 and at the AD BBQ next year. The engine should be in by tomorrow and I hope to start it on Saturday. I'll get some pics up as soon as I can back it out of the garage.

That's great Paul. I'd love to see some build pics. I'll try and post some of mine tonight.

    Hey Guys,

Its good to hear how everyone is doing on their projects. This project has taken more time, money and effort than I originally thought. But don't they always. LOL... Anybody going to get the AC controls to put in there project from Riceburner? They look pretty good so far. Good luck to everyone.

There really is no such thing as a finished car. The big milestone is a painted drivable car. Everything else is bonus.

I agree with this, My AD has been painted and driving for several months but I am still working on things it never stops but as soon as the interior is finished I'm going to sell. I have plans for another car but will go another rout no more Fiero as a donor.

Amen to that one!!! No more Fiero's for me either..
I want something that can withstand major HP and I can do a burnout in and not have to worry about my chassis and or engine cradle twisting. Fiero's are perfect for lots of people just not made for the ones that want their cars to be true supercars.
