    4.9L in my 308

I thought I would share some pictures of my 4.9L 4T60E conversion going into my 1986 Fiero based 308 Replica. Here is the car.
    Take care. Bill

Good job! I had a 4.9 Cadero a couple of kitcars ago. I really liked it. Especially the sound and bottom end grunt. Of course the best thing was the cost!

    Good job....
Here is my 4.9 with Cad automatic mounted in a modified Fiero rear. I used the Cad cradel.

They run smooth, sound great, have gobs of low end and are very fuel efficient. They aren't the fastest thing on the road but I love them.

That installation looks great, I like the modifications made to the rear frame using the Caddy cradle. What body are you putting on that frame/ engine combination?

By using this caddy craddle will you still require adapters , how much wider is the caddy from wheel to wheel compaired to the Fiero
In the USA if you pay a company / person to start a plug, then it,s your plug and work ,it is not theirs to sell or trade !!

I just joined this great site, but im wondering, is the 4.9l caddy v8 out of a fleetwood caddy a good motor? Im getting one in a lamborghini diablo roadster. Also the motor is all rebuild.

    any ideals?

I can't tell you how much wider the Caddy is compared to the Fiero. I assume a few inches. I had a Koenig version of the Testarossa to attach to this chassis { W_I_D_E !!! } Adapters/spacers were not going to help much. I had to go to longer drive axels and move out the shock towers.
