    TIPTRONIC TRANSMISSION

OK--building a lamborghini daiblo kit car.Chassie is stretched FIERO. 98% finished. Putting new engine in.3800SC was wondering, people usually use the AUDI or PORSCHE manual trannys on these builds. not a real fan of stick because all my driving is city.Fell a car like this is above an automatic. Both the PORSCHE BOXTER & the AUDI QUATRO make a tiptronic trans which would give me the best of both worlds! can this be mated to a 3800SC & how would it work with the computer & who can do this? Did anyone ever do this? Thanks....

There was someone on Pennocks that had built up some shift arms off his steering column similar to Ferrari. I believe he was using a 4T60E of some sorts.... best to do a search over there

The boxter transaxle will work just fine. Contact Kennedy Engineering for the adapter.
