    Dave Helds 355 returns!

Well its almost done, I still have some rear panel work above the challenge grill and need some minor work but it doesn't look bad for a re-worked old IFG kit! Regards Bill

Anyone that knows this car should remember the roof cracks, this required major re-work but they are all gone and hopefully for good.

Well, I take the car for a quick spin to the bank yesterday and while waiting at a light an older lady runs into me (rear ended). Looks like the damage is minor it just seems these projects never end!

Of all the rotten luck! I like the custom headlight detail. I also have an IFG type, How much work did it take to the challenge grill? Rob

    Re: Dave Helds 355 returns!

The rear section was cut out (old outer tailight outer panel) and Dave aka (funnywheels) pointed me to one of the members on the forum that makes the inner fiberglass mounting panel. A lot of cutting, then bonding the new center section went in. I did not do the work myself but my body guy told me the panel saved him days. The accident damage is minor but I am still PO'ed. The taillights and challenge grill were authentic Ferrari parts. He tells me the headlights were a lot of work, but I think they look good and give the car a modern look, the headlights are Hella. The mirrors are authentic as well, they even fold. Regards Bill
