    Easiest Extreme Build

    Hey Folk,

    Just looking for your opinions.

Lets say I'm a beginner (but fast learner)
and planning to build my first kit
Which Extreme kit is the easier build?
    And ofcourse, Why?

    Re: Easiest Extreme Build

From what I have read on the net and NOT from this forum the best would be the F355 on the MR2..... It is a quick and fast build and not so much cutting up the car like with the Pug 406 / F360....

If you are a fast learner then talk to Stevo and a few others who have built the F360 and they could assist you with a Pug 406 / F360 Build...if you so like and not interested in the F355...

It also depends on your budget, and what you are looking for... If you plan to build 1 car to get the experience then sell it to build another then I say start with the F355 then the time you finish that Extreme SHOULD have the F430 out or better still the MURCIELAGO!

    This is only my opinion

Start budgeting your project; THAT should help you decide . If your considering a lambo, I'd also HIGHLY recommend actually sitting in one of the cars you're going to build if you're 6 ft tall or taller.

    Ouch... harsh, dude! ;D

I'm almost 6'3" and my Countach replica still gives me almost 1" of headroom and tons of legroom. It's all about how you build the car. If height is an issue, fix the problem. I have a 3" dropped belly pan in my car.

Meddle not with the affairs of the Dragon, for you are crunchy... and taste good with ketchup.<br />http://www.rc-sub.com/resources/grap...ni/avatar2.jpg

    Thankz guy for the responses.
I'd been leaning towards the 355
because like Black Ops and Kermit,
I too live in Japan and Mr2's are
    everywhere plus, Peugeot 406's
are still expensive here to buy
and for parts. Just wanted to
see what you pros thought was
    the easier build for beginners.

One more question (of many more
to come) about the Extreme 355.
In all the photos I've seen of this kit
there are no front and back side
indicators lights. Is there a reason
for this? Would Extreme cut the
hole mounts for you if you wanted
them or are they already there and
    I just don't see them?

    Good Day Gway,

OK you best bet if you are going for the F355 is contact Robert or Ashley and asked them the questions about the car....

Also see what the law is here in Japan regarding the side indicators.

If they are needed Robert or Ashley should be able to cut the required holes and obtain the indicators...

Contact Robert or Ashley at the following email address

    office@extreme-cars-uk.com

    or

    extremecars@ntlworld.com

    Hey Black Ops,

    Thankz for the advice.

I'm not sure if the law requires
side indicators or not but every car I've seen
here have them, even my caldina
    wagon. The street rodders customize
their car by changing the yellow lens
out for white lens. I just think they look
good and the car is kinda naked
without them. I will check the law
    and contact Extreme....Thankz.

I have them on my car. According to the United States Department of Transportation, DOT, all cars have to have them since 1968. Then fat ugly bumpers since 1972.
