    350 against a fiero...

what if that engine was in a one-off tube chassis? I know THAT one is deisel but there are gas 350's available with v-10s. the diesel has more torque anyway.

Sounds like a good Idea,I know some vans use the same moter as a Dodge Viper (Gas Gussler).I would personally go for the 3.8 series II super charges.Power plus good gas milage.

What are you looking for with the V10?
Do you want the sound, or the exotic appeal that it's a V10, or something else?

You can make plenty of power for not much if you look around.
I, personally, like the sound and reliability you can get from a well tuned DOHC V8. Their plentiful, and a few have been known to make great power.

I want the torque. Honestly I could always get an engine cover for a 3800 but will the torque ever be close?

In the US...you cant drive 220 mph on the roads...so whats the point in trying to get speed? acceleration power is key for my desires. I dont care v8 v10 w16. as long as the price is right and the powers to match.

If performance is what you are after, you cant beat the LSX engine from Chevy. But be ready the trans will be the killer, they dont do well with a lot of torque. Having said that the world record for 0-200-0 was set by an Ultima using a LS6 720 hp and a G50 trans.

Off Topic, but are you sure that's a Fiero? Looks like a Nissan Supra or something to me...
