    F355 Fog Light Replacements

I need to replace my fog lights. Are there any that fit perfect like OEM, without the high cost, or should I replace with OEM?

Three of us are using the $30 APC lights and they look good.

    Brastic,

Thanks for the info. Just one question: Do these lights have a tight fit? I'm trying to eliminate any gaps between the lights and the bumper housing.

    Thanks

In 1998 I used Pontiac Firebird driving lights on my Mirage kit, they fit behind the bumper with a rubber gasket between the lens and the edge of the bumper.

They were close to the same price as quoted in the last post. I like them because they were bigger then the 355 hole in the bumper.

    Funny Wheels,

I noticed you used OEM lights on your car. Is your front bumper OEM? If not, how did you get your OEM lights mounted? I want the perfect look, so I'm not opposed to buying OEM lights. I just need to make sure that the OEM lights can be mounted correctly, if the front bumper is not OEM.

    Thanks,
    Robert

    Robert:

On the Mirage posted above it has Pontiac lights in the bumper and additional driving lights in the grill. That grill was cut open to feed the radiator. On FunnyWheels 3 I used OEM lights and the mounted with studs glassed to the back of the bumper.

    Funny Wheels,

Is the front bumper on FunnyWheels 3 OEM? I'm leaning towards buying OEM lights because I want the perfect look and it would only be a one time expense.

Robert: John Watson makes the bumpers replacements for a 355 that were used on Challenge Cars as well as his kits. I suspect John would sell you for your car. They are not cheap, in addition, the lights were about $700/$350 each. A GM pig tail will fit the lights. Then you will need a 355 Ferrari Grill $450 and dancing pony $125 to complete the bumper.

    Re: F355 Fog Light Replacements

    Dave,

My car is a completed, running car. While having maintenance performed during the winter, i.e. tune-up, wheel alignment and balancing, dynamat inside doors panels, replacing alternator and fixing a minor grounding issue, it was discovered that one of my fog lights had a crack in it. That's how this issue came about, because the fog lights looked perfect to most. However, I had always noticed that the fit was not air tight. So since I have to replace them, I figured I might as well go for perfection.
