Is the framework for the brackets already there for it to go up and down? if so, mine has strips fo thick gauge metal bent into place that hold the headlights in place which are attached to that bracket, epoxied to the inside of the buckets in various places, and screwed in place towards the back, where you wont see the screw heads.

go to a salvage yard with older cars find a car that has twin round head lights on each side get the frame that the lights are mounted to then you will have to stagger the frame down the middle for the offset of the TR headlight bucket an weld a piece of tubing or angle iron so one light set forward an the other back then use 4 screws from the outside of the bucket to hold the frame work in side the bucket an you should be able to ajust the lights on your new bracket ,i hope you understand this or at least get a good start

If you're headed to the junkyard, beware of cast parts for light buckets - you won't be able to weld on it very easily, and you'll probably need to do so at some point. Look for something that looks like it's made of sheet metal that's bent/shaped. My Dad's got a 66 impala that looks like a perfect donor... too bad it's not a parts car!

Also, don't forget to grab the wiring/plugs while you're out there!
