speedo for Porsche 915 axle for Lambo kitcar

I need to know if anybody figured out how to connect a speedo to the Porsche 915 axle to provide the signal to my gauge?? My setup is a LS1 mounted to the Porsche 915 tranaxle in the Lamborghini kitcar, and since the ring gear in the 915 was flipped to accomodate the reverse transaxle install their is no way to get a signal from the original speedo sensor on the side of the transaxle case.
    -Thanks

So you think the 915 trans will be able to hold the LS1 power? also do you have pics and where are you located?

Sorry years later for my reply...yes the 915 handled the LS1 but the axles did not, finally had new ones made from a place up in Canada and those never broke again.
    -Thanks
