USA builder of tube chassis' for ferrari sized wheel base?

I am looking for a bare chassis for the AD355 kit. I was wondering if anyone knew of any builders that used Corvette (C5+) parts (suspension, brakes, other parts)?

I found this shop but 15,000 is a lot!!!!

And that would have to be reworked for the 355.

I thought 3 to 4K for a chassis was more of what would be needed.

    Any ideas?

Why not use a Fiero chassie, and upgrade the brakes and suspension. The Fiero chassie will even hold a Corvett motor. The tube chassie is going to be ALOT of work (upolstery, wireing, gages, dash,Air conditioner).

You are talking about spending more money than a real 355 would cost to build a good AD 355 on a tube chassis

The frame I bought off a guy down in Oregon last year was started from a Fiero windshield surround and door frames. He got part way through creating cads for the frame. The frame is 98.5" long which is 2" longer than the 355. The length is all in the rear behind the cockpit so a small block Chev V8 attached to G50 Porsche trans has room to sit.

Suspension is custom built coil overs but the hubs are all C5.

Here is the Pennock's thread where you can see the progress of the build and at the end, there is a link to download the Autocad Inventor (3d) drawings. Progress came to screeching halt when I got the frame.

    DO NOT USE RACE FAB!!!!!!
YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

This is not something that happened to just me, I have had several people tell me that thy didnt get what they payed for either, or it was just plain WRONG!!!!!

And to make matters worse they will try to keep parts that you have already payed for or double charge you....... > > > >

    sorry I had to vent......

look LOWBOOST get you a set of plans or a hand drawing of what you want make it detail an clear ,go to your local Vo-Tech school an talk with the welding shop teacher get the floor pan & whole rear done then take another set of plans for the front later this will only cost you materials an you will need to have the welds inspected somewhere else after it leave the school

Buy the school a chop saw an 5 14" disc to work with
In the USA if you pay a company / person to start a plug, then it,s your plug and work ,it is not theirs to sell or trade !!
