    Extended windsheild for the AD355?

Hey guys, I want more info on the extended windsheild kit/or whatever for the 355's and other makes. I was wondering is there someone that makes this window for who I would have to go through or is it from another car? If anyone knows please give me more info on sourcing and pricing!

    THANKS!

Your best bet is to talk to John Watson or Dave (Funnywheels). They had that windsheild made and that is the only one I have found. I have seen other "f" replicas built with trimmed windsheilds from other cars, but the John Watson extended is the only one I know of for the 355.

If time permits then I will be talking to John this weekend and I'll be sure to mention it as well. Thanks, Jeff

A group of us got together and had the windshield that they are talking about custom made. There are a bunch of them still around and I think John does have some still available. It was designed to fit the sides and upper portion on the fiero windshield surround and attach to a custom window tray that John can supply. You will also need a hood that matches the new bowed windshield

John has extra windshields at his shop. He also has the original Ferrari style front hood so you can get that option rather than the Fiero option when purchasing your kit from him.

I am just finishing up making my original Fiero shaped hood fit the extended windshield and can say without a doubt that getting the proper one from John is the way to go.

You will also need to get the extended tray that mounts to the front of the Fiero windscreen to fill in the new gap.

Dave has an entire thread on the extended windshield in the Techncial section that can explain it all to you as well. Well worth the work as the result is so much better for the look.

    Cheers

How would this windshield work on the 355..

    The Windshield

If you look closely you will notice that the windshield has more of a curve than a Fiero. Almost exactly the same as a Testarossa. It is glass from a very popular car and cost only about $150.00. The wiper pivots are simply removed and relocated in a new panel further forward and under the hood.
