    Ferrari wing windows... 308/328/F40 style..

I made one of these and have test fit everything.. It snaps in place and will stay in place while driving or parked at car shows... But is not a permanent window.. Making the mirror image one now for the other side.. How does it look.??

Wow! That window looks great! You hit the nail right on the head. Will you be offering these for sale?

I was trying to replicate the angle and look of this real 308.. I used 1/4"ID aluminum "U" channel and thin lexan for the window to fit inside the drip channel.. I could possibly make a few sets.. But want to make sure everything works properly 1st.. The "U" channel kinda snaps in front of the window tab and fits snug. You can kinda see it in the pictures.. I need to change the cuts on the glass a hair here and there to make it perfect enough to sell and meet my satisfaction.. But this was just going to be a test piece anyway.. The Aluminum cuts and angles are close to perfect and locks the window in.. I will post a close up of the cut if anyone wants to try and replicate it..

    Nice job.

I made a lexan set for my 308 that fit pretty much the same way. I'm working on a set now made of glass. (along with real glass "GTB" sail panel windows as well.).

    Great work.

I love the attention to detail on your car. It is those little things that make it a show winner and just different enough to make people wonder if it is real or Memorex (that is mag tape for you IPod guys

would it look retarded if it was offset somewhat so that you could roll the window up behind that glass?
