    REFINISHING MY WHEELS

These wheels were thrashed when I bought them. They all had large deep scratches from curb rash, and looked like they had been stored outside for a couple years. I took them to a local refinisher and he gave me some B.S. story about all the work he was going to have to do to them, and all the different stages of paint he was going to have to put on them, and them needing to dry 1 day between each step, yadda, yadda, yadda. He wanted almost $700 each (X4) to do the job! I took them to the auto paint store and asked if they could match the color, and they did exactly. After 1 day of sanding an filling, and a half day of color and clear coating, here are the results.

I did'nt remove the tires because it wasn't necessary. The color is the match for the roadster wheels, and is what is used by Lamborghini service dept. if anybody needs to touch-up or refinish thier Murcielago roadster wheels, let me know and I'll PM you the paint and clearcoat code. Here is a picture of the wheels after i removed the tape.
