    California emissions

    Would a 1987 ferrari kit car with 3800 series ll v-6 1998 engine with automatic transmission pass state emissions? thanks larry

    stock, yes without much trouble, but modified will be the same deal as working with the original car. the general rule is if the engine is newer than the car and passes CA emissions, you're good. you can get it exempt but it's a PITA.
