Thanks Faker. But I have seen this one already. I was looking for the OEM style gas cap.

I found a pic of it and it should be easy to make. Basically take a regular gas cap fill it in with some plastic filler to get roughly the same shape then paint it silver. Then find a stencil with "Lamborghini" on it and spray it black in the center. Then a coat of clear and it should look pretty good. I will look for a stencil, I already have a bigger one on the way for the calipers.

That sounds like a very good plan. What type of filler should I use and where can I find it? Sorry if the question seems dumb but I know very little about body work.

At the bodyshop ask them for a filler that they use to repair plastic bumpers. Wash the gas cap with soap. sand it, wash it again, and again with soap. Let it soak in soap water for a few hours. Apply the filler and shape it the way you want it. When it cures sand it apply more filler if necessary. When sanded to the shape you want it prime it and wet sand it. Now either bake it in the paint oven or depending on your location let it sit in the sun all day so it can cure. Sometimes these plastics will bubble if the chemicals were not cleaned off. If it didnt bubble ask them to pain it a color that would match the rims of a car. Then when it dries put the lamborghini stencil over the handle and paint it in, then add a coat of clear. When it dries wet sand and it should look perfect! It sounds like a lot but isnt such a big deal.

Use the Fiero one that came off your donor. I glassed mine on from behind, then routed the opening to the shape I wanted. Then glue the gas door that came with your kit on the Fiero gas door, and you'll be just about done. If you havn't mounted it yet, its not to late to consider moving it to the passenger side like it should be ;D
