Gel Coat nozzle size & other questions

What size works the best for spraying gelcoat? I am going to buy a high pressure gun. Its not gravity fed type, but it should still shoot gelcoat right? It has a 1.8 nozzle. Making molds. ANY suggestions will be deeply appreciated.
Mix w/ acetone or not? I can clay over holes instead of patching them permanantly right?

Re: Gel Coat nozzle size & other questions

*Hi best size is a #6 in a gelcoat gun Vacume fed from www.esmfg.com
    #6 is 3/16 dia, 4.7mm at arround 60 to 70 psi.
"high pressure gun" ?????????? If you mean a gun that you spray paint with, it won't work.
Spend a couple hundred and get a "Gelcoat and Resin Spray Gun" *(g100 or g200)
Please DO NOT MIX WITH ACETONE. Just mix gelcoat and mek (hardener)
Yes clay over holes and broken edges, make alignment cones, make ribs, etc, etc.
Use Childrens clay you get at a craft store or Walmart.
Also use mold release wax and parting spray if you don't happen to be alwready.
