    355 exhaust question?

I was starting to cut out the exhaust exits on my 355. Any one know what the distance from dual-to-dual from the center of the tips on the real deal? Thanks!Eric

Contact Glenn on this site. He is building an AD 355. The bumper is exactly the same as a 355 Ferrari. If I hadn't moved mine to a center exhaust, I would measure them for you.

    Eric:

I just measured my bumper cover and it is 37 inches center to center. Do you need the width of the cut out as well?

    Re: 355 exhaust question?

Wow, thanks guys for the reply. I took a stock photo of an e-bay 355, and measured the license plate, measured the exhaust. Then took the real dimension of a license plate, and solved for X. I got 34.25 inches. When I look at the AD picture here, the exhause looks farther apart than the photo I have of the original car. Thanks for all your help. Eric

Here's a pic of my AD 355 with unmodified OEM F355 exhaust. The openings are the same as the real F-car.

OEM 355 exhaust on a AD355 Shane's car, mine looks the same but I don't seem to have a clear picture.

    Re: 355 exhaust question?

I had to cut the exhaust tips and move them out almost 2" to fit the bumper. I did not want to cut the trunk out to move the muffler back. Others have cut and remolded the rear bumper to move it forward.
