Best place to look for the BMW v12?

I've been calling around to salvage yards looking for a BMW v12 with no luck. I'm in the Atlanta area. Anyone have any info on places in their area?
Also, would the S70 motor from the 94-96 850csi be a better choice than the M70?

Heres your best bet. Buy a complete running 750il 89+. You can get them for around $2-4k all day long. Even if you have to buy it out of state and drive it home. Then you have everything you need for the motor swap. When your done taking all you need you can sell the left over car to a junk yard for between $500-$1000. Or part it out. 850 motor will be hard to find.

Keep us posted!! Watch out for overheating V-12's, very common problem. There are many reasons that may cause this, there water pumps have plastic impellers and the break off the shaft then the car over heats, the fan clutch's go bad a lot. You need to bleed the cooling systems whenever you service them, if not they will vapor lock and over heat. Check the coolent bottle for gunk, the gunk could be a sign the head gasket is going out.

Thanks, I contacted one person on the list and he already has a deal he's trying to work out. I'll try the others tomorrow.
This forums like taking a test with the answers in front of you, "a breeze". Once again, thanks for the info.

I was thinking of using BMW v12, however after reading further on the forum, people said that the power output of this one is not to spectacular. You might wanna consider v8 engines. easier to tune and maintain.
