    Door handles on 355

Well im a bit confused on how everyone is doing their door handles on their cars. Are you using original fiero door handles? how are you attaching them to the fiberglass and how are they connected to open?
Even pics would help me see how you guys are doing it
I was going to use door poppers only because I was afraid of even trying it, but if I could use door handles it would be waaay better..

    thanks in advanced

You can use your stock handles on a relocation bracket.
They relocate really close to where they are originally.
The handles are inside the exterior door panel.
    Not connected to the fiberglass.
You get to them from a hidden slit in the door.
    I used remote poppers.

I made a little "Z" bracket and the Fiero handle. It has worked well for over 10 years now. I access the car through a slit in the door. To keep out the water etc, use a piece of rubber inner tube from a truck. Glue the exges to the inside of the door, put a little slit in the rubber to provide access to the Fiero lever.

    Easy stuff.

FunnyWheels, wicked idea! I think I might just do that! Hey thanks for sending me that email too it really helped me get an idea!

Spyder, just out of curiosity, how hard was it to install door poppers on the fiero?

Dave, I just love the idea of the inner tube rubber to keep trash and debris out. I just wished I'd have thought of this sooner so I could have implimented it on a few of my other builds. Thanks for the tip. Eric
