For a Fiero probably yes, but if you intend to do a replica, you need more width 10-13", not 8".

if i was to get a set of 18x10 for the rear wheels with a 5x120 bolt pattern for a fiero setup would i need adapters to change what ever bolt pattern is on the fiero and if it has the wide track suspension would i still need i think there called wheel spacers to make the wheel fit correctly in the wheel well just as a real murc wheel should look

yes you would still need wheel spacers

    with wide track i think ~2" ~$300

with out wide track i put 4" and 3.5" for ~$500

I personally feel it is poor judgement to use more than a 2 inch spacer on the front. The scrub radis is extreme. Hit a bump and you could loose a ball joint and / or control of your car. Something with a spacer that wide in my opinion is a death trap. It is like stepping over dollars to pick up pennies. If you are going to spend mad cash on building a nice replica, why not invest in some suspension and big brakes that can save you life?
If you're not confused, you're not paying attention.
