    Installing corvette lights - Problems

man im having a lot of problems these days, maybe because im actually working on the car instead of procrastinating anyhoo here we go...

I purchased corvette lights and tried to fit them today but noticed that there was a problem...

I noticed that the lights are smaller then the hole and look weird because of the gap! and they sink in alot while the real 355 stick out. When I purchased this kit it came with these lights but decided to take them off reading how everyone was using corvette lights.

Here you can see how the corvette light is smaller then the circle

    heres the sink in

    one more of gap

Anyone have a fix to this problem? im hoping not to fill the holes with fiberglass because that would be insane

One of the best budget overages I made with my AD355 was to use OEM rear tail lights. The other was the challenge grill.

Are the Corvette lights the same diameter and depth as the Ferrari OEM lights?

Thanks MURCI-ME, I used the fiero.
(not much left of a fiero, lol)

The Corvette lights are about a third the depth,
I think they are just a little smaller round.
I used red leds to light them.
And I painted the retention bolts red.

The OEM Ferrari lights are a lot deeper and bigger diameter than the Corvette lights. The Corvette lights won't work or look right without a lot of modification to the rear valance panel of your car. I've seen replicas with Corvette lights and they are a dead giveaway. My advice is try to sell them on Ebay and bite the bullet for the real deal.
Even the longest journey begins with the first step.

Here is Bondo Bob's car with the Corvette lights.

You should really go for the OEM if you can afford them.

Well OEM does look way better but how much would I be talking for OEM lights? Where would I go?

EDIT: I almost forgot, thanks for all the responses and help!
