When swapping out the fiero engine for a 3800, will it work with the fiero ECU?

You may want to do a search on e-bay for "Moradparts" I've had a few people buy there 3800 seriesIII from them...

    8) Or you can buy mine, I bought mine from Morad Parts, you can get it for $500 less than what I paid from them.

It is a 3800 SuperCharged Series III engine WITH Automatic transmission.

If you do purchase a motor from Moradparts, make sure you buy as a package the series II throttle body from 1999 and up, a fuel rail from 1999 and up, computer and harness from 1999 and up, an alternator, all the accessories and belts, ask if he can provide an O2 sensor from any series II, also you'll need a 3 wire coolant temp. sensor, oh ya make sure that the 1999 throttle body has all the sensors on them. If your going auto make sure you get the tranny and both drive shafts, you'll only need one of them but get both just in case. If your going manual I could help with a flywheel and clutch???

Any questions please feel free to ask.

Try www.car-part.com -it will bring up a list of local junkyards with the engine (or other part) you're looking for.

By the way, an acquaintance of mine recommended a guy with on Pennock's with username PBJ (PB&J maybe?) to do the wiring harness for the swap. I've never done business with them personally, but it may be worth looking into.

Or... instead of buying from a junk yard and not know what you are getting... or even if it runs...you can buy mine! 8)
