    fuel tank sending unit????

Any one know where I can get the fuel tank sending unit for a 85-86 fiero. we tested two so far are both did not work. The guage currently does not work, we tested the guage and it will read and function however with the bad sending unit it is not operating.

I also just purchased a VDO electric gas guage for the car so I will be in need of the sending unit to hook to. The car has a v-8 and 9 gallon tank installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    thanks!

you might try www.car-part.com type in some info, and it will display a list of local junkyards to match the request. There's no sending unit, but you can enter a fuel pump or tank and see what comes up.

Otherwise, try pennock's, where you can post a free classified want ad - www.fiero.nl

Call VDO technical assistance. They helped me hook up my VDO gas gauge to the Fiero tank float sensor.
