got the opportunity to buy a running grand prix for cheap...

Would this be a good parts car for my AD355 build? if so what type of parts (mechanical, as I intend to have Amida's interior) could I use?
Brakes? 3800 engine? tranny? windshield? Or, is it just not worth it for the few parts that could be used. I checked the forum search engine (kinda clunky) but nothing really stood out as a easy cross over.

    Thanks

    Jeff

It's high mileage, but for $500 I might get it if there were a lot of parts I could use. Don't know about GTP, probably not for that price.

I boguht the whole car...and would not do it any ther way..otherwise..you just start hunting for parts that you need that would come on the car itself...but again, thats what i did

Since you know your building a AD355 and you are going to have such a differant in rear track...you could use the k member and suspeion as well...that way you ony have to use 1 inch adapter for the real wheels.. another thing to think about

If you are really serious and not just kicking tires, you should contact John at AD and get him to get you in touch with Jim Ashlock. Jim has been very nice and informative, he used a '01 GranPrix for his donor and built an amazing car using the dash, and windshield out of the GP. Jim shared a lot of info with me, a truly nice build and an even nicer guy.
