The V12 engine will not fit in a fiero sideways and the firewall needs to be moved for it to fit Longitudinal. As for an adaptor to the fiero trans andything is possible jsut depends on $$$.

why do you say the fiero trans is weak? It's not the greatest but it could handle the 300 hp that the BMW v12 put out with no problem.

I know a page (which I do not find right now)

there is a builder from Germany of the Murci Kit.. they fit the BMW V12 on a regular basis into the Fiero.. with the Audi A6 Gearbox!

and here we have a company from UK ... http://www.paralleldesigns.co.uk/indexframe.html they use a Renault Gearbox

If you do mate your V12 to a Getrag 5 speed, would you get it to fit between the wheels? It is a sidewinder not like the Audi that goes north and south.

BTW, A Getrag will easily hold up to 450 HP, the Isuzu will take up to 250 HP. I never tried the Munci 4 speed but it is stronger than the others, just missing the lower first gear. I think you would twist off an axle before you broke the transaxle anyway.
If you're not confused, you're not paying attention.

Here is a step-by-step on connecting a V12 BMW to an Audi. The same priciples can be done the Fiero transmission, but that raises the question.....why?
