    Paint or gel coat.

I have a small fiberglass boat that beach sand has wore down the finish. What would be best to refinish it paint or gel coat. Which would be the most durable.

    Thanx.

I vote for paint. My white gel coal car keeps turning yellow.

it the boat will be left in regular lake water it will break down paint if it stay over 4 days ,now the other options would be regelcoat the bottom an let it slow cure out about a week do not put it in direct sunlight but a warm place
In the USA if you pay a company / person to start a plug, then it,s your plug and work ,it is not theirs to sell or trade !!

If you put some Duratek in the gelcoat it should be able to go on like paint and help keep it from turning Yellow.
