Hey guys, I'd really enjoy building a Ferrari f50 replica and I was hoping you could help me out, I'm only 14 so go easy on me For some reason, they seem to be outlawed...or blown off the planet I've seen a few, but only completed...there's a few kits that pop up from time to time like on or two a year...are there any websites, companies or people that produce this kit? Help me out if you can, Jordan thanks

You won't belive how much work I did to fix this F 50 kit which, yes I originally bought from e-bay. not a very easy kit to build as nothing lined up and had to be sent off to a professional fiberglasser but after nearly a year and alot of $$$ and waiting it is nearly finished and hopefully I can paint the car before end of this month. fingers crossed~

Let's hope it "looks" correct, as the few I have seen look short and stubby...
Post the photos for all to see...

DJ's car has a 7 inch stretch so it looks good. He also reshaped the front to get rid of the "smiley face" front grill.

His price for the F50 kit seems reasonable but I would check and talk with this person to find out exactly what's included with the stretched body kit...Is it the correct dimensions and how well build are the panels....Ask around to see what others say about his work and reputation....Take a trip to check out his work in person or at the very least get detailed photos of is work and talk with the builder in person. forget about emails back and forth (waste of time)....Get on the phone and talk with him...
Best of luck with your search and let us know on your progress.

I came across that website as well. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with him/them?
Side Note: I don't understand why people who are trying to sell something don't take a little more effert in their presentation. I mean that guys website is horrible. Come on register a domain or get someone to host the site. Make it atleast look professional.
I wonder how much a full build F50 should and does cost.

There seems to be a completed F50 kit on eBay right now - link is below... The F50 kit is as "outlawed" as any other Ferrari replica out there. One of the reasons for not seen many of them out there is because retrofiting it to a Fiero chassis is more difficult than other Ferrari kits....Some of the molds and panels are not even correctly copied on some kits....More expensive to produce - supply and demand, I guess. The eBay F50 kit is asking $20K turn-key...About the same money as a completed F355 kit of reasonable authenticity (some here may dissagree with the prices)....Anyway, you the buyer, should be the judge on how well the kit looks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Replica-Kit-Makes-Email-for-Model-Fiero-Red-Turn-Key-Replica-Kit-Custom-EVERYTHING-Look_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ7251QQitemZ4566430693QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVWGood luck VK
