My grandmother passed away yesterday at 10 am. her name was Marjorie. she was the most honest and upstanding person in the world. she loved the lord and walked the straight and narrow.
i was abandoned at the age of 2 months. she and my grandfather scoured the west coast until they found where i had been left. it took them a month to find me and i was with them from that day on. they were more like my parents than grandparents.
she died in her sleep at peace at the age of 93. she is the oldest living member of my extended family(i mean was the oldest). she is survived by her only child(my mother),5 grand children,4 great grand children and 3 great great grand children.
I LOVE YOU GRANDMA.
I MISS YOU GRANDMA.
PLEASE SAY A PRAYER FOR ME....

When my mother died at 89 she had been wanting to go for several years so that she could be reunited with loved ones. I didn't grieve. She had a long and good life. Hope you can look at it like that. Maybe she was ready and wanted to go.

Do not weep for her as she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We will pray fro you that the pain is not to long lasting, having lost my own mother I know exactly how you feel. Be strong and of good courage!

Darin,
I am sorry for your loss and pray that the Lord comforts you in this time. We are all going to leave this world one day. It should bring some comfort and reassurance that she is with the Lord today. Remember her and what she tried to instill in you in her life. Most of us have lost loved ones. I have lost a number and some I knew, had Christ in thier hearts and I know where they are. The truely sad passings were the ones that either were lost or totally renounced Christ altogether. You are blessed that you know she loved the Lord and lived in a manner that was pleasing to Him. We all fall short, every one. But the love for the Lord is the driving force behind trying to live according to His wishes.

thank you for the touching words guys. i normally would have kept this to myself but felt i needed to put these words where people could see them. dont know why but i did. turns out your words of encouragement are helping to shore up my foundation.
