I didnt take your comment in a negative way. It's good to see people intrested in my work, as for this is my first build ever and won't be my last, but I've been working with fiberglass for close to 8 years now, I'm probally one of the youngest builders out there, but enough about me.
I wanted to keep the Nsx untouched, didnt want to mess with the frame. I've heard stories of people buying replica's of a nice looking car, but a death trap under all that fiberglass. So its better to not mess with the frame and have a solid peace of mind knowing that the car won't split in half on you when your speeding down the road.

When is it expected to be ready and when can I come and check it out. The NSX is an awesome choice as it had an excellent engine and was one of the most practical supercars out there =)

Hi, please, post more pics, I have a friend interested. The price is only fiberglass, really ? Nsx is a good choice as a donor car, not streched, the foam car looks correct. I prefer easy job and correct proportions vs hard work and correct size.

Here's a picture to show the rework in the bottom portion of the door and the bottom air vent, you can see a big difference in the two pictures. It looks alot better than what it used to be. Before I would look at the sides and there was just something not right with it, now I'm happy how it looks. should be done sanding by this weekend! Great work there....Heck' I for one find the design, both top and bottom pictured to be really enzo-ish! Would'nt have figured out the slight difference if you had'nt pointed it out here.... Good to know there are perfectionist around.

so did you build this using those CAD plans online? that has the F40 and a few other makes? Have you ever thought of styling a F40 as well? You are in the USA right? when do you plan on making molds of this car? Its currently just a foam mold now right?

lots of questions I first try doing the old method by using a 1/18 scale model, cutting it in to sections then using a projector to blow it up too scale, but that didnt turn out too well. Everything was just off and looked like crap, never going that way again! My second option was to get a 3d model from turbosquid, that didnt go too well. Once the model was imported in to cad the doors went missing and couldnt make a tool path for it. So after all that, took a 1/18 scale model laser scanned it and Cnc a huge block of foam. As for the F40 I won't be doing that anytime soon, theres already kits for that out there, you just have too look hard to find them. I will be glassing the foam buck on monday if everything goes right this week and dont get any delays with the bodywork, will also be taking deposit next week. I currently have a team of 4 work on this, so things move fast at the shop. One kit will take 1 week to make from laying down glass to having it boxed up ready for shipping. Located in Canada

I really have to congratulate you on this!!! What a great Job! What's the blue stuff you applied all over it and will it stop your styrofoam from getting chewed up by the fiberglass and resin?

I've posted in many other forums than this, same name same everything. But I did recieve an email about aweek ago that someone was using my pictures in this forum, so I posted up this too make sure that no one will be stealing my photo's and calling it their own, so that you guys know who the real builder is. If you have second thoughts and dont believe that I am the builder, I can with ease write your screen name on poster boad put it right beside the car an snap some pics post it. kitcarbud: The blue stuff, well green actually is there to help protect the foam from distortion when the resien is applied. Resien is a very harsh chemical, if I just layed the glass down on top of the foam with out any protection, I would be left with a pile of mush and thousands of dollars down the drain. 2005fordftkit: The interior will be made after the body is completed, and once I get the Nsx in the shop I can start fab work on the interior. Need it there to get the measurements right, dont want to be mocking it up and have it not fit in.
