  • Custom 300 build.

Well since the theme of this site has now changes to include custom work i figured I would pipe in with mine.

Last year I bought a 2005 Chrysler 300 Touring with the inention of customising it.
a year later after tinting the windows and adding "mad eyes" I sold it to purchase a newer 2008 Chrysler 300 Limited.

Last night I recieved my New replacement grill.
I kept the Mad Eyes from the 2005 and will install them once the weather warms up.

I have a few custome mods planned as i go. i'll post pictures of what i have so far.

"Mad Eyes" These are the actuall Mad eyes going on my car, I purchased them from the owner of the car pictured below....

Notice the extra piece coming out from under the hood over the head lights? Those are "Mad Eyes"

    un-installed look like this:

Ok, Tonight I finally got around to installing the new grill. I had to remove the mad eyes in order to remove the front fascia.

        Front removed and taped off.

When installing the new grill the lip on the inside that the grill gets mounted to needs to be painted flat black, it helps hide the lighter colors or in my case the silver behind the grill and blends in with the black space and radiator, as well as the bumper impact foam.

              installed:

I am not putting the wings on the front, i like the clean simple look.

Tomorrow I will put the Mad Eyes back on and take some shots of the whole car. Just in time for a road trip to Kelowna.
Funny thing is all this has finally been added only for me to possibly turn around and trade it in in 2 weeks! Movin up in size

                    I had a silver 03 and a red 05 Srt4 that I sold last winter.. Awesome cars..

I was seriously injured when I crashed the silver one though.. I broke 14 bones and spent 2 weeks in a coma.. Four months later when I was able to walk and almost drive again I bought the red one..

Thanks.. I was so lucky.. I had a Level 3 concussion, 7 broken ribs, broken shoulder blade, broken pelvis in 2 places, broken vertibre tips, collapsed lung, ruptured spleen (wich they removed) and spent 2 weeks in a coma and 3 months in a wheel chair.. The broken pelvis still gives me problems, but for the most part I have made a full recovery..
