    Re: Custom 300 build.

LED indicator is off when the car shuts down.

Turn the key on comes the system and LED indicator at eye level. It stays green until......

A radar hits you or a laser hits you

not to worry as the system is also equipped with 3 laser shifters and a radar jammer. no detection, no ticket, and a clear warning to slow down :

there is also a gps in the system to track false alarms and known speed traps, red light/speed cams, photo radar, etc.

I did a lot of research on this before buying it...

i don't have a kill switch, the power button on the control module is easy to access. In Alberta Canada, this system is completely legal to own and use. also legal in Saskatchewan, and British Columbia.

      From this review: http://www.1stradardetectors.com/rad...ctor/index.php

"This radar detector review of the Escort 9500ci shows the Passport 9500ci is one of the two best radar detectors available for the USA and Canada. This radar detector jammer combines a hidden, water proof, radar detector with a laser jammer called the Shifter ZR4 and radar camera alerts for the USA and Canada. It Is 100% invisible to all police Radar Detector Detectors including RCMP and OPP Spectre RDD in Canada, VG2, VG3, Spectre ii, Spectre iii and Spectre iv"

"We tested the Escort 9500ci radar laser detector and Shifter ZR4 in June 2008 at Speed Measurement Labs. The Passport 9500ci review confirms a high performance product with hidden radar detector for drivers who want a hidden system in their vehicle providing the best radar, photo and laser protection in one package. Call it a Fuzz Buster or radar dector, but we call it the best radar detector you can purchase. It provides total electronic invisibility to any radar detector detector used in the USA and Canada. The dual radar antenna configuration provides the best radar detector test results. The AutoLearn feature significantly reduces false radar alerts. It is a GPS radar detector and operates as speed camera detector. Voice Alerts, WEB updates and more. Escort Radar did it right with this speed camera detector."

Ok, I just could not stand it anymore! A gorgeous grip grill sitting around with no definitive install time set due to waiting on my clear lens reflectors being back ordered. So i said to heck with it and put the grip on!

While i was at it i changed out the turn signal bulbs in the headlights to my newly acquired stealth chrome bulbs

            Re: Custom 300 build.

You'll notice my "Mad Eyes" are not on anymore. I have been contemplating selling these and going with round Bentley like headlight covers.
In order to install the new grill and remove the fascia, i needed to remove the "Mad Eyes"

Well, it appears the double sided tape i used (not 3m) was so strong, it actually roved some of the fiberglass and paint off the mad eyes when i removed them!

the underside of the mad eye:

The double sided Silicone tape with the paint and fiberglass still attached....

i will deffinately use this stuff again for the roof spoiler!

                Re: Custom 300 build.

thats a cool ride you got there.
I got one question in ref to the passport if you dont mind me asking. How often do you notice lasers vs regular RF scanners and the idea of having all in one unit is good but I'm contemplating which one to get being just RF or all-in-one

How much is the Passport? Is it legal to use in Ontario?
