I have lots of photos of my CRP Diablo build. The car was just painted and is awesome. The car bis uilt entirely of Carbon fiber aftermarket replacement panels with a complete aftermarket replacement interior. I just need to know how to post pictures. If someone could let me know hao to do it I will post pics as soon as I can.

        Re: My Diablo Build

Here are some detailed shots of the parts and the car being reassembled. you can see the spot welds from when the original car was molded. This is 100% accurate. The 6.0 front fenders are direct bolt on for factory as are all of the parts on this car. I chose to modify my 6.0 fenders to fit the GT rocker panels. I even sculpted a set of GT style side skirts for the car that fit with the 6.0 fenders. These will be sold as an upgrade for factory owners. The SV lid is awesome and has all of the oem duct work on the underside. I will post more as the car comes together. I built the car and JVD did athe paint job. I know he is getting flack on here but he did an awesome paint job on the car. We used all factory ppg arancio atlas. Since I own a real Diablo I was able to show Jon where the black trim needed to go.

Where did you get those panels? Carbon Fiber sounds nice.

                  Re: My Diablo Build

I own the molds to these panels. I sell aftermarket Diablo and Murci parts. Yes, I built the whole car then pulled all the panels off to have Jon paint them, the photos don't do the paint job any justice. The car is beautiful. Most of the interior will be done in carbon as well as some of the exterior. All of the panels are made from epoxy resin and carbon fiber. Here are some pics of my friends Murci, I made and installed the wing on his car. i know lately there has been some mention of how much travel these cars need. In the phots of the Murci the air lift is all the way up from ride height it only lifts about 2-3 inches depending on where your ride height is set.

The guy on the right looks just like the guy from Queens of the Stone Age (Josh Homme?). Good band.

Anyway, nice cars. Good choice of color on both

faqaaso from kitcentral? I thought you had sold your CRP molds? If it is you, we have talked (or e-mailed, not sure) a few times. I was interested in a body but you were west coast and I don't buy from kit people unless I buy in person and leave with the stuff. Just a policy, nothing against you. How have you been and the car looks absolutely awesome.

                        Re: My Diablo Build

Thanks Bartman, I ended up getting the molds back. They guy that bought hem couldn't pay what he owed for them so I gave him his money back. I never wanted to sell them in the first place so I guess it worked out the way it was supposed to. I have been well. Took the past year off to work on this car and relax. But will be back selling the aftermarket parts again here shortly. Some things are in the works. Hope all is well with you.

Your car looks great. I could tell when I saw it you gave a lot of attention to detail.

Just don't let JVD get any closer than two feet from that car.
