  • Big brake completed. I had real functioning rotors machined for the rear and cosmetic rotors for the front.

    Easy does it.

    • Shouldn't that be the other way around???
(Front brakes account for over 80% of the stopping power).
I was wondering about the paint as well lol. Here in CA (L.A.), that paint has been outlawed for some reason. If we want a satin or eggshell black we have to use a black basecoat and then a variable sheen clearcoat.

Wow, CA is strict. Good question about the rotors. Several answers:

-Since they were machined to Fiero spec, I can always swap 'em to the front.
-In the rear, I'm running no spacers & the front I am. B/c of this, I couldn't just put fake rotors in the rear (clearance issues). Trust me I wanted to, it would have been much cheaper.
-In the front I wanted the rotor to sit in front of the spacer w/no spacer in between the rotor and wheel.
-With the power train remaining stock, stopping power is currently of no concern.

                  • Nice that you have oem tops on the seats. I haven't seen any replica seats with the correct shape

                      • Installed these grommets today. They slipped right over the latch. It's little things like this that can make a replica feel authentic. Plus they pushed the latch away from the door to keep a good gap between the door & jamb.
