    A friend of mine has an original 300sl and has a whole lot of spares that I borrowed to copy.
    I had a go at the door handles. Had them laser cut from stainless and polished and designed a housing for them.

        I made silicon moulds from all the parts and then made my copies with an industrial epoxy resin mixed with aluminium powder.

          I am going to spray all the parts with a chrome spray I have found that does a pretty good job. Still needs a polish.
