AjZ - could be, but a J Watson body would be better. Either way you go it is a ton of work.

    • tough to get stuff done while working, but got a little completed tonight

cut off the excess with my air saw

      Sand with a block

fine tune with 80 grit on one side of a filler spreader.

      • made some adjustments to the bumper and installed it. Installed my headlights. It had been so long ago since they were last in .

The passenger side install went well, as I had some pictures. The drivers side, no pictures and I struggled. Ended up building a new drivers side one piece bracket.

next up a bunch of body work on the hood and fenders

                • Trying to get some body work completed before the weather turns

                  front fenders:
since both wheel gaps and the actual shape are completely different, decided to take the best bits from each side.

drivers side Grind, CSM, Dynaglass, ez grip and lots of sanding.

got the door gap pretty close (tight) and somewhat happy with the shape

                          • Basically giving up on doing any more body work for the next few months with the weather.

                            So on to inside projects

What to get my passenger door finished
so I can bond the outer door skin

                            -Installed remote door lock actuator
-OEM door lock switch wired up
-Audi power window switch with relays
-Courtesy light on/off switch integrated to Door latch like OEM
                            -Routed wires final connection

                            Amazingly only blew one fuse

                            • soldered and wrapped the door wiring

install interior door release cable and handle

                              mounted outer window sweep

adjusted outer door skin for bonding. Forgot just how much adjusting they needed
