Too bad you can't use a cheap clk430 Mercedes as the donor , it already has many of the parts for the replica and a reliable powerful drivetrain
That's true Cutlass, I wanted to do it that way. Correct year Vin and everything. But the major roadblocks were getting the MB electronics to play nice with an Audi 5 speed bolted up to the Benz v8 (Couldn't find anyone who has done it). I didn't wanna blaze a new trail on this one. Need to finish it while I'm young enough to enjoy it.

The plan is to use a Pontiac Solstice-Saturn Sky windshield. Also while we're on the subject the back glass is 1st gen Audi TT coupe.-Vinny

I've begun to model the fuel tank mounting (17 Gallon) as well as the Brake Master Cylinder, I'm waiting for the Brake/Clutch pedal assembly to arrive, they will be drawn up in the model as well.
