I never got around to posting on your video... but I find that all the aftermarket keyless entry system put a pretty big parasitic drain on the battery. I keep my 818 hooked up to a battery tender, and I installed a toggle switch to kill power to the keyless brain when I know it will be idle for more than a week or so.
