Well COVID-19 has really hit the timeline. I'm stuck in Oxford the car in Birmingham.

Anyhow, a link to the final bonnet / hood mould can been found here..... https://1drv.ms/u/s!ApUpxxXVaLqYsA8y...GtUhw?e=ZohQp7

Not much to update you on!

Dolphin Glaze is now on the car ready for spraying (why do painters always take so long?). Then final moulds can be taken before the assembly of the final car.

Hi - It's a panel build (so no IVA issues) & all the work is being done in "Britland". As I will have moulds for all the panels it would be a shame not to allow others to create the same! So, I am planning of offering "kits", happy to ship to "non-Britland". Does anyone have a few of pricing (I hvae no idea).

Not much to show over the last few weeks. Basic tidy ahead of painting before final moulds are taken. Anyhow, car is now ready to go to the paint shop, I'm just waiting for a date.

A old clip I dug out from when the original moulds were being created. A good way to "bank" & protect the work already completed.

    Don,

I'm about to take second moulds, then it will just be a question of paint + the 1001 other items that need to be resolved! There is a large car show in England in May.

I'm hoping the final car will be on display.

    Cheers

    Very nice;

Are you still in pretty much mostly mdf board and bondo at this stage or are you starting to already mold pieces and pulling parts? Just looking at the front end and it almost looks like it is finished and into fiberglass already.

Very cool. I look forward to seeing it all one colour to really capture all the lines and contours.

    Cheers
    Don

They are not from another car. They were being used for another bespoke design & I have gained agreement to use them.

This is looking pretty good! I may have missed it, but what is that tail light from?

Image Rear 10 looks a bit like the front of the original Barris batmobile (sort of if you squint and look at it sideways).
I bet your really excited to see the back end moulded. I know I would be.
The kit I had from the team some years ago was great and I know subsequent kits only got better and better.
This is going to be a real head turner!

    Some more images for you.
Previously I showed some of the "learnings" on the rear.

Here we have the final version:

Should be a great build Doc. Brian and Ash are real craftsmen!
