More fender stuff .
I am by no means a expert at this so if you have any advice to help things go along smoother or fast , please let me know .

Ok remember I said I would explain why the back of the fender didn't go to the door , ( in the first pic ) well it's because of the door hinge pivot point .
In order to have the body wider and not have the door hit the fender when the door opens I came up with a plan that the wide part of the door goes into a pocket at the back of the fender .
If I was building just one car for my self I would have extended the door hinges , But the average guy probably can't cut the door and the hinges and weld spacers to them . so this way the door doesn't even have to come off the car.
So now it will look like the door goes into the fender with a vent along the edge of the door . ( I will take a video in the next couple of days )

Ok lets go to the back of the car for a change of pace .
Falcata is the name of the car , I named it after a Spanish Sword It was considered a very deadly weapon .
So the logo for the car is two sword ends put together , I designed the exhaust tip from this idea , the first pic is a little solder holding a Falcata and here is the signature exhaust .
It's 24 inches long and 4 inches tall

So in order to get the exhaust up into the middle of the back I built some rear bumper Extensions like the front , they are 3 inches and bolt directly to the car and the factory bumper .

More exhaust , the tip is 3/16 ths aluminum plate and the tubing is 2 1/2 with hand formed ovals , it's all mounted with rubber isolation stand offs

On to the roof , there is two bat man like humps that go from the top of the roof down and blend into the rear quarter panel , I made a template out of 1/4 inch plywood and cut them out on the router table , this is a great method to making parts the same , just flip the template to do the other side . that blue foam sure machines well .

This is amazing work. Liking the look of the shape and being a standard and available donor will be important to expand your market. The Vaydor is a very cool machine as well but really requires some additional skills of the builder to be able to cut away the car body. Looks like your kit will be mostly just pulling the fenders off rather than extensive cutting.

Falcata. Another thought is that another local builder used door in core foam board to shape some of his parts and it cuts and sands as nicely as the 2 part foam and way more economical. He bought the 4x8 sheets from Slegg Lumber. Might be an option for the bigger areas like rear fenders.

Thanks for the kinds words , other plans are air ride suspension , unfortunately

AccuAir Suspension is permanently closed due to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The forced shelter-in-place order by the State of California with an unknown return date .

I had everything organized with them at SEMA in 2018 , now i have to choose another company .
Also might install some cutouts for the exhaust , my main concern is to get the body finished and start getting them out there .

More on the back of the car , the quarter panels , I designed the shape of the quarters to be able to accept the use of the factory Gas door .
The yellow masking tape is for me to get a visual of the contour .

I built a fixture to mold into the quarter panel for the lid so when it comes out of the mold the hole gets cut and the bottom get bonded on .
