I would be tempted to cnc one if I got enough people wanting one. I would take a small deposit say something like $500.00 this just gets rid of the time wastes.

So have a vote and what ever car is the winner at the end or 7 days and If I have enough people interested I will get it done. It should take around 2 weeks to get it cut so fast

Was thinking doing it this way we could all split the cost so pulling moulds would come under £1000 which would be amazing. I'm happy to do it that way as not in the for the money.

The CNC mould should come in around £4000 but then we could pull as many off as we need and sell them as a group maybe. Any ideas welcome

Well if we got enough to do the cnc we would pull kits off for around £1000 maybe even less. Then we could fine a supplier for the lights etc.

So would need 16 people putting in $500 then £1000/$2000 for the kit

Always open to ideas

Thats the best thing about cnc, its fast but the down side its not cheap.

I voted for the Zonda. There is just something about it that is very attractive, hopefully more people vote on it.

I am awaiting the AD640 and am excited to bring it home... but for $2,500... if you made the Zonda, I guess I would be building two projects!

Thank you for the offer in helping out with your resources... I look forward so seeing how this progresses. Also, if the Zonda does get chosen, and you need help with any of the carbon composite components, I am here to help.

I'd be interested in the Zonda but i'm worried about getting the glass made and what chassis you would use? I'm not too keen on the idea of custom chassis or cutting a donor, I'd like a nice simple body swap

Dazm and Goldie,

I agree that for ease of build, a "body swap" would be quick and pain free, but regardless of this, I feel it takes away the character of building a vehicle from scratch with your bare hands. Although one must take into account that not everyone will have the abilities to alter a donor chassis, or have the funding for a custom tube chassis.


As far as the choices, as stated earlier, I don't feel that there is any other choice other than the Zonda. With all due respect, if you look at the options, the Zonda is the only choice.

The ENZO is already being created by Prototype 2
The REVENTON is going to be done by John, once the AD640 project is done
The VEYRON is a nice looking car, but I can see a replica being a let down
The MCLAREN is an all time favorite, this one would be a good choice too

The ZONDA is completely free. I read somewhere that there was a company in Japan that attempted it, but the dimensions were off and they do not sell any products.
