  • Introduction Thread: Hello to the forum from TraceZ!

    Hello all!

    My name is Tracy.

I live in Verona Wisconsin, a suburb of Madison.
I've been mechanically inclined my entire life and a huge car guy.
I've been married 18 years and my wife and I have 4 children together.

    Currently in my garage:

    1964 Austin Healey Sprite
    1992 Ferrari 512TR Replicar
    1994 Chevrolet Camaro convertible
    1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass
    2008 Chrysler Town&Country
    2011 Lexus IS250 AWD

I did a complete mechanical restoration on the 64 AH myself, including engine rebuild that I'm very proud of.
I've done many engine swaps in various Camaros I've owned over the years.
I typically own vehicles for a long time. I've owned the Camaro for 15 years, the AH for 8, the Olds for 12.
Two years ago I sold a 2002 Corvette convertible that I'd owned 7 years to finance a new house project and have seller's remorse.

I will be posting the TR replicar for sale shortly. It was acquired as a family gift and I've decided to move in a different direction.
I'm really a Corvette guy at heart and have learned I cannot shake my love for Vettes. I'd like to move the TR "down the road" and make garage room for another Vette.

    Thank you!
    Tracy

        Welcome to MM

Wow.. quite a collection. Pretty cool that you got the TR as a family gift. I'll adopt you as "official unofficial family", so you can carry on the family tradition of gifting the car, and pass it to me. lol

Looking forward to seeing the TR. I'm working on one now. Mostly mechanical issues at the moment, rather than the fun "build" process.

I was a teenager when my uncle worked with a shop to build it. I was always excited to go with my dad and uncle out to the shop to check progress. I got to do the stereo installation!

I have some pictures I can share.
          Thanks for the warm welcome
