Curious when is someone going to attempt and build a Ferrari (Tesarri) or Lamborghini (Tesabo) Kitcar off a model S or model 3? Someone had to have an idea by now... I know the body shape isn’t ideal but the platform is ideal.

It's my understanding that only tesla supplies the parts you may need to work on it as a base for any car project. And the parts are ridiculous in price making it a poor choice as a donor car among many other reasons. Every replaced electronic part requires a relearn of the computer system to recognize it and allow it to function, I have heard. And they wont work on a salvage car or one that has been modified/repaired by a non-tesla tech. Sounds like a PITA that's not worth it. But hey, some may enjoy that kinda challenge. But those are the rumors I have heard. I don't own one.

I have been watching a you-tuber, rich rebuilds. Here is a link to one of his videos. He explains that they will 'brick' your car remotely and it will no longer charge if they deem you trying to rebuild a car that has been salvaged by tesla. Pretty interesting videos showing the cars mechanics.

Here's what I was thinking about doing with my 57 meteor. But then I realized, I got too much to do elsewhere and dont really care enough to do it. Would be a fun end product though
