  • GT40 body

    Hi guys...

Does anybody know where I could get a fairly accurate GT40 body... I want just the body, not a whole kit!
    I'm in Qc, canada.

    Thank you

    Larry

Brian Wolf has GT40 bodys taken from an original Ford Plug, and the cost is very reasonable. Check out his site at http://users.netconnect.com.au/%7eka...lff/index.html

Is that based on a Fiero? The Fiero based GT-40's kits seem to look awkward to me.
Has anyone seen any of his cars? Are they any good?

Nope, not on the Fiero - custom chasis... but A) It's not his, it was owned by his landlord, and B) he doesn't have any moulds of it, so in other words he's been trying to sell his landlord's body. and C) He was evicted, so he can't even sell his landlord's GT40 body anymore.

          Re: GT40 body

Most GT40 bodies that are reasonably priced are awkward looking because the roofline is way to high, by about 6 inches. I just sold a completed Fiberfab car that was very accurate in proportions. But the downside is there is NO headroom if your over 5'8. Im currently looking for a Fiero based one to replace it. You could chop the top to make it look more accurate. Archie of V8Archie is making a kit that will accept Fiero or his engine kit drivetrain. His mold is pulled off of an original real GT40 in England, so its accurate. He builds up a custom frame, but uses the front and rear frame clips off of Fiero. You can get more from his website. There are always Fiberfab Avenger (GT40 replica) popping up on Ebay for dirt cheap.

If you're not confused, you're not paying attention.
